Opening hours and new sales catalogues

Now that the Bank holiday weekend is over, the Library is once again open as usual from 9am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, and from 1pm to 6pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.

Today’s new sales catalogues are:

All four may be found on the usual ‘New Books and Sales Catalogues’ shelves.

 

New periodicals and sales catalogues

Today’s new periodicals are Pluk, Summer 2008, and L’estampille: l’objet d’art, May 2008. Both are available as usual on the ‘Current Magazines and Journals’ shelves (arranged in alphabetical order).

We also have another sales catalogue to add to the collection:

These catalogues will be either on display on the ‘New Books and Sales Catalogues’ shelves, by the photocopiers, or in the relevant sections of our collections of sales catalogues.

We have also received this week’s issue of Country Life and Summer 2008’s issue of Tate, etc. Both are available on the ‘Current Magazines and Journals’ shelves opposite the photocopiers.

 

New sales catalogues

We have received two sales catalogues for Russian art sales taking place in June:

Russian art evening, Sotheby’s, London, June 9.

The two catalogues are available on the ‘New books and sales catalogues’ shelves on Level 1 of the Library, as usual.

 

New journals

This week, we have received the following journals:

New sales catalogues

The following sales catalogues have come in this week:

We have also received two Italian-language catalogues from Sotheby’s in Milan:

Arte moderna e contemporanea: prima parte and Arte moderna e contemporanea: parte seconda, both taking place in Milan on 27 May 2008.

All sales catalogues can be found either on the ‘New Books and Current Sales Catalogues’ shelves beyond the photocopiers, or in their designated area on the shelves beyond the periodicals on Level 1 of the Library.

 

Important: Library catalogue system

The Library catalogue is currently down, but we are working on getting it back up as soon as possible.  In the meantime, you won’t be able to search the catalogue or renew books online, but please try again this afternoon.  If you still can’t access the catalogue or your record, please contact the Library.

 

Library Opening Hours, May 3 – 5

The Library will be open as usual tomorrow (Saturday 3 May) from 1pm until 6pm, and will be closed as usual on Sunday 4 May.  We will also be closed on Monday 5 May, as it is a bank holiday.  We are open again for business as usual from 9am on Tuesday 6 May.

 

New journals

May’s editions of Art and Auction, Art Monthly, the Art Newspaper and Crafts arrived today. They are all available in the usual spot on the ‘Current magazines and journals’ shelves opposite the photocopiers. Please come along and have a read!
