The sales catalogue African, Oceanic and Pre-Columbian art : including property from the Bareiss, Bohlen and Dinhofer collections, for the Sotheby’s New York sale (May 16) arrived today. You can find it on the Sales Catalogues and New Books shelves near the photocopiers.
We also received May’s copies of A-N magazine and Art Forum International, both of which are on the ‘Current Magazines and Journals’ shelves as usual.
Just in: the Library now has 11 copies of The art business which you can find at MAAB.MKT.ROB

The Library has just received its first copy of the photography journal Blind Spot, a new addition to our current journal collection. Blind Spot is unusual because it emphasises the visual, its pages featuring several images and very few words. You may find the first copy on display on the ‘Current magazines and journals’ shelves.

Today’s post brought us two new journals – April’s issue of Art Review, and May’s issue of Art + Auction. They are available for consultation on the Journals shelves on the ground floor of the Library.
The 2008 edition of the Modern Humanities Research Association style guide is now available online at MHRA Style Guide 2008, and we have copies of the printed volume on order.
In the meantime, you can consult our copies of the 2002 printed volume, available under the shelfmark REF.WRI on the ground floor of the Library.
